Children's Wing

At Louisiana the children have their own area in the museum, Louisiana Børnehus. This three-storey Children's Wing offers open workshops every day, where children from 4 to 16 can paint, draw, sculpt - and explore artists' and architects' working methods and expressions.

All activities for children are based on the museum’s current exhibitions and Louisiana’s Collection and are organized and conducted by Louisiana’s arts professionalsThe Children's Wing closes at 18.00. You can follow The Children's Wing on Facebook.

The Louisiana Children's Wing is happy to invite all children to take part in a major drawing event inspired by this extraordinary spring of 2020. We encourage children to show us what their lives look like here and now – to draw what they think or dream about, their families working at home, spring flowers in the park or the view from their window.

In short, all drawings are welcome! Every week we draw a winner and give away a drawing and painting hobby kit from And when the museum has re-opened we intend to collect and exhibit a selection of all the drawings here in the Louisiana Children's Wing. So don't forget to save your originals.
